David Sappa is a musician, artist and sound designer. His research and work is underlined by an interest in mental health and how it relates to the psycho-political aspects of Neo Liberalism, as well as an over-riding interest in developing musical systems that are accessible - believing the act of musicing , free from market forces, offer spaces that transcend division and difference. His work often breaks up elements of music e.g. entrainment, kinaesthetic empathy, embodied cognition - utilising these elements for therapeutic or educational practices, or to convey an idea.

David also works as a sound designer for podcasts and videos, enjoying the way sound can aid spoken and visual narratives.

He holds a BA (Hons) in Creative Music Technology from Falmouth University and a diploma from the Royal College of Arts.
