Dream Mechanics is an 8 minute acousmatic composition that was used in a 16 channel diffusion performance. The composition relies heavily on field recordings and creative processing to convey narrative, mood and place, contorting these elements to communicate the shifting mutability of a dream landscape.

Sea Bed
Sea bed is an ongoing project that observes the sea as a metaphor for dream states; the lulling motion of waves, the above/below-conscious/subconscious divisions, the surreal quality of the water refracting light and distorting realities.
How can this imagery be utilised to create a physical space which promotes healthy sleep habits for children? How can we generate an excitement and sense of wonder around the activity of sleeping, in a time where the prevalence of technology has a detrimental effect on our natural sleep cycles, necessary for cognitive and emotional development?
In Sea bed, this is explored primarily through interactive, generative musical environments, as well as corresponding visual media and story telling.
The aim for 'sea bed' is to create a structure that produces an immersive, visual and auditory space that ebbs and flows to the viewers movements. (2016)
